-- What else do you need to get
started? To start using this tool, you will need little more
than your imagination and the internet connected to a Windows computer that has
a virtual reality plug-in installed, specifically
.
Other 3D browsers might not work.
The PoeticPantheon tool will allow you to place poetic writes in a virtual 3D pantheon displayed on your computer. Thus, you will have poetics in virtual concrete whether or not it is concrete poetry.
Author Advisory --
Each panel below is represented by a panel in the pantheon. Multiple panels can constitue one poetic write or a single panel a single poetic write. Be aware though that in a PoeticPlace, the poetic write might be read in various orders (ergodic text as in ancient Egyptian temple walls) since a read is a vistor that can walk around freely or take a tour.
Navigator Advisory -- When pantheon is displayed, the PgDn and PgUp keys can be used to take a tour. The mouse pointer and arrow keys can be used to walk around freely. Accelerate the walk by adding the shift key.
Font Options-- Not everyone on the web has every font that is on your machine, so if you plan to share and do not know what others have, consider standards like Arial and Times New Roman.
Orientation Options
Share is currently under development.
You can test this "Share" feature up to the point of generating the shared
file as a window. You currently cannot save it for reproduction
or send it through email. To save your work, make sure to copy and
paste each Panel line into a document such as Notepad before
exiting this program. The "e-send methodology" of the "Share" feature
will be implemented soon.
Share your creation with others by clicking "Create Share Page". You can either send the
share page in an
email
as an attachment or place the share page on your web site. Or, you can just keep
the share page on your computer for later display. Thus, you can go public with your
poetics or keep it private.
For a privacy example, consider that you might want to create poetics to send as
a card to someone special. You could either send it in standard mail by placing
the shared page on a disk, or email, or place it on a log-in controled area of
a website, or show it to them on your computer.
For a go public example, you could place the share page as an addition to
a website where you currently have a webpage.
To display a comment in the share page, enter it here.

After creating the share page, use "Save as" from your browser to save the share page. With MS IE7, "Save as" is on the "Page" menu. Earlier MS IE browsers have "Save as" on the "File" menu. In all cases, the "Save as type" option to use is "Webpage, HTML only,(*htm, html)".

Future
You would like to save your poetic write, right? Well, of course you could just copy and paste it in a text file and then paste it back here whenever you want. But, that's too labor intensive. Automation is coming. Need to write? Then, contact us.
Want to select the art that is in the pantheon? Or, how about selecting tours? That's also coming. But, for now, get an idea of the possibilities. And, come back later for more actualizations.
