Abstract
Conform input text to the expression Lx < Ly > Lz.
Introduction
The goal is to make input text graphable as mountains, that is conform to the pattern Lx < Ly > Lz where L is for letter of a given word and x, y, z are indexes for the letters of a given word. The output of words can then serve as input to a program that graphs text such as the GraphicWord Tool by Norman T. Thornton of PoeticWrites.org.
Words of a length not evenly divisble by 3 will not appear in the output. Thus, for example, words less than 3 letters will not output nor will words with 4, 5, 7, or 8 letters though words with 3, 6, or 9 letters will output.
For our purpose, we will treat all word characters except for digits as letters. For example, "co-operation" has a hypen that will be treated as a character.
